The name Westvale Home Care was created as the story started in Westvale Park. Claire and Maria wanted to link the name of the company to a meaning and felt the story surrounding the development was a fitting tribute. Many roads in Westvale Park housing development has been named in honour of those who served in the war.
The lavender emblem is a tribute to Maria’s mum, Claire’s nan, who sadly passed away at the age of 95 years old, whilst the company was setting up.
Maria’s mum often spoke of the times she picked lavender as a child for her own mother. Both Maria and Claire wanted to commemorate her memory and felt comfort that Mabel would always be connected to their company.
